2008 Global Studies Grants
As part of its ongoing effort to actively promote international education and the study of global affairs, the Global Studies Foundation awarded its second round of Global Studies Grants in 2008.
Offered annually in three separate categories -- for students, faculty, and institutions -- these grants are designed to encourage experiential learning abroad and the internationalization of education. As in 2007, the applicant pool in all three categories was strong and diverse. Dozens of interesting and promising proposals were received from nearly as many states.
