GSF Programs
At the heart of the Global Studies Foundation is a commitment to help people learn about the world. In addition to our scientific research and philanthropy, GSF also conducts educational outreach programs for various civic and educational groups. Designed to extend the Foundation's reach to the larger citizenry and to encourage participation and support for GSF's mission, these programs include guest speakers, seminars, and workshops, as well as research-related conferences and a recently launched Fellows Program. GSF's outreach efforts are conducted in both academic and public venues and target a wide range of audiences, particularly faculty, administrators, students, and concerned citizens.

To complement such outreach efforts with practical educational tools, GSF has recently embarked on a national campaign to put globes in elementary classrooms. Working with LeapFrog Schoohouse, the makers of Hugg-a-Planet, and a growing network of volunteers and sponsors, we are starting with schools in New Hampshire and South Carolina and expanding across the United States. We currently are seeking additional sponsors -- individuals, institutions, and corporations -- for schools, districts, counties, and states, with a wide variety of participatory options available.
Alternatively, our new online PayPal system also is available if you would like to make an easy and safe online contribution to help support our programs.
