Operations / Philanthropy / GSF Institution Grant
The Global Studies Grant for Institution Program Development
Targeted at accredited secondary and postsecondary institutions in the United States, this award provides funds for educational institutions to internationalize their curriculum or instruction, to deepen the institutional process of globalization, and to expand the array of offerings and support that institutions can offer their faculty and students in this process, particularly through workshops, seminars, speakers, and other faculty development programs.
While all public and private schools at the secondary and postsecondary levels are eligible to apply, institutional need will be considered, with preference shown for those schools where such an award could substantially advance internationalization efforts. Other important selection criteria include program merit and outreach potential, including the applicability of the program to other institutions.
To apply for this grant, please complete our online information form and submit the following materials prior to January 9, 2006:
- A letter of application of no more than two pages that specifies the intended program and schedule, the target audience and likely participants, its outreach potential and applicability to other institutions, and how this specific grant can help make it possible;
- An official letter of endorsement from an institutional authority confirming these plans and the institution's capacity and willingness to receive and process a grant for this purpose from another 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization.
